Pine Engine AI (“we,” “us,” “the Service”) is currently a private, invite-only beta. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
- Information we collect
Account information
If you are granted beta access, we collect account and access identifiers such as your email address, user/account ID, and beta access status.
Usage and device data
We collect basic usage data and device/technical information such as pages visited, timestamps, browser type, device information, and IP address.
User inputs and generated outputs
If you submit content through the Service (including prompts, Pine Script source code, or related materials), we process and may store your inputs and generated outputs to provide the Service. We may also log related data for debugging, abuse prevention, reliability improvements, and internal quality assurance.
Error and security logs
We collect error, audit, and security logs to detect and prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and maintain system integrity.
- Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to measure website traffic and usage patterns. We also use Hotjar to understand how visitors interact with the site (for example, clicks and scroll behavior). These tools may use cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.
- How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Generate, deliver, and store outputs you request
- Debug issues and improve performance and reliability
- Prevent abuse, enforce access controls, and protect the Service
- Understand product usage and improve user experience
We do not sell personal data.
- Model training and code inspection
We do not use user-submitted source code, prompts, or generated outputs to train public or shared AI models.
If you report a bug or technical issue, we may manually review the specific submission and related logs to diagnose and resolve the issue. Such review is limited to debugging, reliability improvement, internal quality assurance, and abuse prevention. We do not use your proprietary source code for commercial redistribution or for training public AI models.
- Data sharing
We may share information with service providers that help us run the Service (for example hosting, databases, analytics, logging, and security tooling). These providers are permitted to process data only to provide services to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of the Service, our users, or others.
- Data retention
We retain account data and generation history while your account is active. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize your account data within a reasonable timeframe.
We may retain certain information (such as security logs or records required for legal compliance) as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or protect the integrity and security of the Service.
- Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and secure authentication practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
- International data transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries outside your country of residence, including where our infrastructure providers operate.
- Your choices and rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and associated stored data.
Account deletion requests must be submitted by emailing support from the email address associated with your account.
- Third-party platforms
If you use outputs on third-party platforms (including TradingView), your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party practices.
- Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a new version with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
